In production, laser measurement of material thickness is used to ensure a constant diameter of the string along its entire length. The Fillamentum strings are protected by a double packaging against UV radiation and in each package there is a drying bag that prevents the possible effect of moisture on the material.

asa is very similar to ABS. Compared to ABS, however, has greater stiffness, is resistant to UV radiation and shows low level of yellowing. The shrinkage of this material is similar to ABS. However, the surface of 3D models from ASA has a very different character due to its high gloss. The advantage of this material is excellent weather resistance.
