PrimaSELECT HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a 3D printer filament that is normally used as a support material with ABS. HIPS dissolves in D-limonene. HIPS is also a very good filament for making objects directly yourself. You can 3D print stunning things with a beautiful matte finish.

High Impact Polystyrene, as the name suggests, is a robust and resistant material. Among hobby enthusiasts, it is used to make 3D models in various sizes. It has limited warping, almost no material shrinkage and is very easy to glue to other parts. You can use normal super glue. It is also perfect if you want to sand and paint your part after 3D printing.

PrimaSELECT HIPS is a very light and durable thermoplastic. It is also very resistant to various acids. HIPS is one of the most used plastics in the world. You can find it in CD cases, DVD cases and in various food packaging containers.
Processing HIPS on your 3D printer
When 3D printing with PrimaSELECT HIPS, we recommend using a heated bed. Set your heat bed to 90-110 ° C for best results.
PrimaSELECT HIPS adheres to BuildTak or glass plates coated with adhesive spray or glue stick.
PrimaSELECT HIPS – Delivery
PrimaSELECT HIPS is delivered as high-quality filament (750 g) wound on a transparent spool. It is packed in a sturdy box with a dehumidifier to prevent moisture.
